SAP IBP Demand Planning & S&OP; Consultant (Supply Chain Planning)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP IBP Demand Planning & Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) Consultant to join our SAP Center of Excellence (CoE). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) with hands-on experience in Demand Planning, S&OP;, and Optimizer configuration and support.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP IBP planning solutions while ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and delivering high-quality planning capabilities to global business users.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and support SAP IBP Demand Planning and S&OP; solutions.
- Configure planning areas, planning levels, key figures, time profiles, planning views, and planning operators.
- Implement and support forecasting models, heuristics, and Optimizer functionality.
- Translate business requirements into scalable SAP IBP solutions.
- Provide L1/L2/L3 production support for SAP IBP Demand Planning and S&OP.;
- Analyze and resolve planning, forecasting, and optimizer-related issues.
- Support enhancements, testing (Unit, Integration, UAT), deployment, and hypercare activities.




- Monitor and optimize planning performance, optimizer runtime, and system stability.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring issues.
- Support integration between SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems using CI-DS/RTI.
- Ensure master data consistency and planning data quality.
- Participate in SAP IBP release assessments, regression testing, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Demand Planning, IT, and Global Process Owners.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of SAP IBP experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP IBP Demand Planning.
- Hands-on experience with SAP IBP S&OP;.
- Mandatory experience with SAP IBP Optimizer.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and Forecasting.
- Experience with Time Series Planning.
- Knowledge of Planning Areas, Planning Levels, Key Figures, and Planning Operators.
- Experience with Heuristics and Optimizer configuration.
- Integration experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with CI-DS and/or RTI integration.
- Robust troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- Experience supporting global planning environments.
