Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OpenText Content Suite Senior Developer / Lead Architect with strong expertise in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and backend technologies. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing scalable OpenText-based solutions, integrating with enterprise systems such as SAP, and ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- OpenText Development & Customization: Design, develop, and customize OpenText Content Server (OTCS) and Archive Center (OTAC) components
- Work on SMARTUI customization, workflows, and content solutions
- Develop WebReports, LiveReports (advanced) and ActiveViews
- Implement and manage Records Management solutions
- Integration & APIs: Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs
- Integrate OpenText systems with SAP and third-party applications
- Work with CMIS APIs and ArchiveLink (SAP integration)
- Implement digital signature integrations (DocuSign, Adobe Sign, GlobalSign)
- System Administration & Infrastructure: Perform installation, configuration, and administration of OTCS (Content Server), OTDS (Directory Services), OTAC (Archive Center), IV (Intelligent Viewing)
- Manage system upgrades, patching, and migrations
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and availability
- Data Migration & Compliance: Perform large-scale data and document migrations
- Ensure compliance with data protection standards (GDPR)
- Manage retention policies, metadata, taxonomies, and archiving strategies
- Search & Content Optimization: Optimize search functionality and indexing
- Manage content metadata, classifications, and taxonomies
- Improve system performance for large-scale content repositories
- Architecture & Solution Design:



Define solution architecture aligned with business and compliance requirements
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance
- Ensure best practices for Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
- Support & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Provide production support and ensure system stability
- Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes
- Agile & Collaboration: Work in an Agile environment with bi-weekly sprints
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Translate business requirements into user stories and technical solutions
- Participate in workshops and demos with stakeholders
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Prepare detailed technical documentation and deployment guides
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to teams and end users
- Document all processes and submit required reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6-9 years of experience in backend development / ECM solutions
- Strong expertise in OpenText Content Suite (OTCS, OTDS, OTAC, IV)
- Experience with:
- SMARTUI customization
- Workflows, WebReports, LiveReports
- OScript and OpenText architecture
- Solid knowledge of:
- REST & SOAP APIs
- SAP integration (ArchiveLink, CMIS)
- Experience in installation, configuration, and upgrades (Windows & Linux)
- Knowledge of document management, archiving, and retention policies
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) concepts
- Experience with large-scale data migration and system upgrades
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
