Chixy Chick & Cafe is looking for a Restaurant Captain to lead the service on the floor, take orders accurately, and ensure every guest enjoys a smooth, friendly dining experience. You will be the primary point of contact for guests at their table, focused on order-taking, follow-up, and building strong customer relationships, while coordinating with the rest of the service team.

Your day-to-day includes

Welcoming guests, guiding them to their tables, presenting menus, and clearly explaining specials or recommendations.

Taking detailed and accurate food and beverage orders at the table, repeating key items, suggesting add-ons, and confirming any dietary preferences or restrictions.

Entering orders correctly and quickly, coordinating with the kitchen and service staff so dishes are served in the right sequence and at the right temperature.

Checking on guests throughout their meal,



answering questions, resolving issues on the spot, and maintaining a warm, professional relationship with regular customers.

Maintaining a high standard of table setup, cleanliness, and presentation in your assigned section, including checking cutlery, glassware, and condiments before service.

Handling or overseeing billing for your section, verifying that items and offers are correctly applied, and ensuring a smooth payment experience for guests.

Guiding and supporting junior waiters/servers, assigning tasks for your section, and sharing feedback from guests with the Restaurant Manager to improve service.
