Experience : 5-10 Years
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and stabilize turning and turn-mill machining processes for high-precision components.
- Execute machine trials, component prove-outs, commissioning, and production ramp-up activities at customer sites, with readiness for frequent travel.
- Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, with a solid command of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). •
- Perform process planning, including cutting strategy, tool selection, and cycle time optimization.
- Program and troubleshoot CNC machines using Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi controllers.
- Define and implement robust work-holding solutions, including power chucks and mechanical chucks.
- Carry out inspection and validation using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and manual measurement techniques.
- Perform process capability studies (Cp, Cpk) and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
