In the role of Java Software Developer, you will help develop EITS solutions to ensure that they are fit to be implemented towards our customers. This role demands a high degree of accountability and will require someone who has an ability to work under both time and project pressures. An ability to work in a high security workplace is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on Software Development
- Hands on designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Knowledge in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework
