We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester (2 4 years experience) to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and/or mobile applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The candidate must have hands-on experience with manual and/or automation testing in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual and/or automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing (for web/mobile apps).
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
by helping stakeholders execute test scenarios.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 4 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual and/or Automation).
- Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle.
- Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter (if applicable).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
