Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer for a contractual assignment at our Electronic City facility in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the high performance, security, and reliability of our enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure. You will manage network security assets, collaborate with cross-functional teams on critical upgrades, and enforce strict cybersecurity compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Network Management: Design, implement, and manage secure LAN/WAN networks to ensure maximum uptime, high performance, and robust reliability.
- Device Configuration: Configure, monitor, proactively maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade firewalls, routers, switches, and secure VPN gateways.
- Security & Compliance:



Maintain and strictly enforce network security policies, access controls, and intrusion prevention measures (IPS/IDS).
- Maintenance & Operations: Conduct regular firmware patching, configuration audits, and thorough documentation of all network hardware and software assets.
- Incident Resolution: Collaborate with internal IT and cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure upgrades and provide rapid incident resolution.
- Cybersecurity Support: Support ongoing cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability management tracking, and corporate compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Education: Graduate with a relevant IT-related Technical Degree.
- Experience: 3-6 years of core hands-on experience in enterprise IT networking.
- Technical Skills: Robust proficiency in routing protocols, switching matrixes, firewall rule management, and VPN configurations.
- Preferred Certifications (Any of the following is a strong plus):
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
- Check Point Certified Security Administrator/Expert (CCSA / CCSE)
- CompTIA Network+ or dedicated advanced courses focused on network security.
