Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer/Architect

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion pipelines and cloud architecture solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Implement high-volume, scalable, and secure data processing solutions.
- Strong in Pyspark to write notebooks to Implement business rules and transformations as processes.
- Collaborate with architects and leads to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Perform testing and debugging of fabric applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Ensure data quality, controls, and governance are in place.
- Optimize and secure data storage and retrieval systems.
- Monitor system performance and recommend necessary infrastructure changes.




- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Microsoft Fabric and related fields.
- Integrate, centralize, and maintain data sources.
- Supervise the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python,SQL.
- Solid understanding of data processing frameworks and tools (e.g., Azure Databricks, Hadoop).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Robust understanding of networking, security, and data management.
- Understanding of Data Governance principles and practices.
- Certifications: Fabric DP-700 & DP-600 certification is preferred.
