About Plaksha Incubation Centre:

The Plaksha Incubation Centre (PIC) is the incubation and venture development arm of Plaksha University. It is incorporated under Section 8 of Companies Act. PICs ambition is to build a deep tech focused entrepreneurship ecosystem at Plaksha University setting the foundation for deep tech creation in North India. It aims to become the hub for deep tech innovation in the region, collaborating with Research Institutions (other Universities and Corporate R&D; centers) in the region, aggregating research infra, IP and talent from partners. It will enable real world validation and pilots with Industry partners. It will also build global connections with Alumni, Founder networks and Tech hubs. PIC will support students, faculty or alumni startups enabling translation of academic research into innovative applied technology, industry partnerships for commercialization and mentorship, and access to startup capital. It aims to support 50% startups from within Plaksha and an equal number from outside. PIC aims to partner with Government of India programs such as AIC (Atal Innovation Centre), TBI (Technology Business Incubator), DST, AIM, and Startup India by meeting eligibility norms and performance metrics.

Job Description:

In this role, you'll contribute to developing and managing the Plaksha Incubation Centre, working closely with startups, mentors, founders, investors, and industry experts. You'll have the chance to help shape incubation programs, build partnerships, support start-ups through various stages of development, and ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Centre. We are looking for a proactive, highly organized individual with strong operational and executive coordination skills, excellent communication abilities, and a flair for managing social media and digital engagement.

Ensuring Smooth Operations of the Incubator:





Coordinate with teams across university functions to ensure the incubator operates efficiently. Maintain and regularly update SharePoint and other internal systems. Ensure accurate records of inventory, contracts, fund utilization, and operational documentation while supporting day-to-day executive and administrative activities.

Reporting and Executive Coordination:

Compile and present monthly dashboards, startup progress reports, and budget reviews. Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, meeting notes, and other executive documents to support internal reviews and external engagements.

Event Planning and Management:

Plan, coordinate, and execute workshops, networking sessions, founder meetups, mentoring sessions, demo days, and other incubation events, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder coordination.

Social Media and Community Engagement:

Manage and grow the Centre's social media presence by creating engaging content, promoting startup success stories, publicizing events, and driving community engagement across digital platforms. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding and communication.

Developing Incubation & Acceleration Programs:

Support the design, execution, and continuous improvement of structured incubation and acceleration programs that enable startups to scale and succeed.

Eligibility:

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, and the startup ecosystem. Fresh graduates as well as candidates with relevant internship or work experience are encouraged to apply.



A willingness to learn, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential.

Skills:

- Strong operational and executive coordination skills
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Social media management and content creation skills
- Ability to design executive-level presentations and dashboards (PowerPoint/Google Slides)
- Understanding of startups, business incubators, and accelerators is preferred
- Familiarity with government startup schemes and funding programs is an advantage
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and SharePoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and ownership
