- Electrical maintenance of plant equipment like electric motor, MCC/PCC Panel, VFDs, Control Panel, Pumps, Blowers, Compressors, Cooling Fans, motor gearing, heaters, transformers checking etc. and other electrical plant equipment.
- perform preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and follow PTW/LOTO Safety procedures.
- Read power, control, and SLD drawing for maintenance work.
- start and stop control wiring maintenance, overload relay, power cables work, MCCB/MCB.
- earthing and insulation resistance testing using a megger and continuity, voltage, current, and resistance testing with a multimeter.
- cable glanding, termination and panel wiring.
Safety Skills
- lockout/tagout(LOTO) procedures follows.
- Permit to work (PTW)
Mandatory follow before performing a critical job.
- electrical isolation procedures.
- basic fire safety and emergency response.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-5 year of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- valid electrical supervisor license is mandatory.
- immediate joiners will also be preferred.
