Job Purpose:

To lead our insurance division by formulating and executing sales strategies, driving business growth, managing key partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence. The role is responsible for achieving revenue targets, overseeing team performance, managing P&L;, and maintaining compliance, while building a solid market presence across individual and corporate insurance segments.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the insurance division, aligned with company objectives.
- Take full ownership of the divisions P&L;, ensuring consistent revenue growth and cost efficiency.
- Lead business development initiatives to acquire and retain clients across both individual and corporate segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and channel partners.
- Drive the achievement of sales targets and performance metrics across the team.

Secondary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Manage, mentor, and support a high-performing sales team.




- Oversee underwriting processes, claims coordination, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and strategic presentations for senior leadership.

Qualification:

- MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management from a reputed institute is preferred

Experience:

- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in the insurance sector, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within a brokerage or insurance company.
- Proven track record in sales strategy, business development, and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of life, health, and general insurance products.
- Hands-on experience in managing P&L; and achieving financial targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
