Role: System Engineering (Telecom Tower Site Solutions)

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled System Engineer to support the design, sizing, and implementation of power systems for telecom tower sites. The ideal candidate will assist in engineering tasks involving energy systems such as diesel generators (DG), solar power, battery storage, hybrid solutions, and remote monitoring integration. This role involves working under the guidance of Senior Managers to deliver efficient, reliable, and cost-effective energy solutions for telecom applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Design & Engineering Support

- Assist in designing power systems for telecom tower sites including DGs, batteries, and solar solutions.
- Prepare system schematics, load analysis, sizing calculations, and design documentation.
- Support senior team members in conducting feasibility studies and solution benchmarking.

2. Battery Sizing & Selection

- Contribute to battery sizing calculations considering load profile, backup requirements, and site conditions.
- Assist in preparing documentation for battery integration and charging/discharging cycle planning.

3. Solar Power System Design

- Support the design and sizing of solar PV systems including panel and inverter selection.
- Work on integration planning with backup and grid-based power systems.

4. DG Sizing and Planning





- Assist in sizing diesel generators based on energy demand and runtime requirements.
- Contribute to fuel efficiency and performance optimization studies.

5. Energy Storage & EMS Support

- Support design and integration of battery energy storage and hybrid systems.
- Work with the senior team on EMS architecture to manage power flow and improve efficiency.

6. System Integration

- Coordinate with electrical, civil, and installation teams for integration of components at tower sites.
- Assist in reviewing layouts, interconnection diagrams, and BOM for integrated systems.

7. Remote Monitoring Systems

- Participate in the implementation and configuration of remote monitoring solutions.
- Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and data interpretation to improve system reliability.

8. AC/DC Meter Selection & Setup

- Assist in selecting and sizing AC/DC energy meters to ensure accurate energy monitoring.
- Support meter calibration and ensure compatibility with EMS and site conditions.

9. Project Execution Support

- Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and in office teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of systems.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to the team lead or manager.

10. Technical Documentation & Proposals

- Support the preparation of technical documents for proposals, tenders, and internal reviews.
- Assist in preparing compliance checklists, site reports, and as-built documentation.
