Role & responsibilities

- Utilizing total station equipment to measure distances, angles, and elevations on land.
- Determining and marking property lines and corners based on surveys and legal descriptions.
- Mapping natural and man-made features of the land, including contours, buildings, and utilities.
- Providing accurate measurements and guidance for construction projects, ensuring proper alignment and placement of structures and features.
- Processing and interpreting measurements to create accurate maps, plans, and reports.
- Creating detailed records of survey findings, including maps, calculations, and field notes.
- Working with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.




- Ensuring the total station and other surveying equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
- Following all safety regulations and guidelines during field operations.
- Setting up and leveling the total station.
- Measuring distances and angles using the total station.
- Collecting data points and recording observations.
- Calculating coordinates and elevations.
- Performing quality control checks on survey data.
- Preparing as-built drawings and documentation.
- Providing guidance and support to field crews
