Role & responsibilities

1. End-to-End UX Ownership & Delivery

Own and drive the complete UX lifecycle for a B2B/B2C product ecosystem or feature

area, from research and problem framing to high-fidelity design and developer

handoff.

- Translate complex business needs into intuitive, scalable design solutions.
- -Self-direct work, define design approach, and deliver with limited guidance.
- Take accountability not just for individual deliverables, but for overall UX quality and outcomes.

2. Accountability & Execution Excellence

- Demonstrate strong ownership by following through on commitments and ensuring alignment across all contributors (internal stakeholders & customers).
- Plan, prioritize, and consistently deliver tasks on time with high quality
- Take responsibility for both successes and failures, incorporating feedback into continuous improvement
- Shape and structure work effectively, exploring multiple approaches to achieve the best outcomes
- Provide delivery oversight and accountability for junior designers within assigned projects
- Transparently share relevant information to align, inspire, and engage stakeholders and team members.

3. UX Research & Customer Focus

- Take a strategic approach to UX research by identifying the right questions and selecting appropriate methodologies
- Plan and execute user research activities (interviews, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, competitive UX benchmarking etc.)
- Synthesize findings into actionable insights that influence product and design direction.
- Advocate for user needs while balancing business priorities.

4. Visual & Interaction Design Excellence

- Proficiency in Figma and associated AI tools, Deliver high-quality, polished UI designs with a strong eye for detail, usability & aesthetics.
- Demonstrate excellence in typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
- Contribute to and maintain scalable design systems and reusable components.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all touchpoints

Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence

- Collaborate closely with Product, Customer, Engineering, and Business stakeholders
- Drive alignment through clear communication, structured thinking, and well-articulated design rationale
- Present design concepts persuasively, connecting user experience decisions to business impact
- Build trust and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams

6. Business Acumen

- Demonstrate strong understanding of business context, industry trends, and organizational priorities.
- Understand and clearly articulate core offerings and how the product contributes to overall business success
- Connect design decisions to key business metrics and outcomes.
- Use and communicate relevant financial and performance indicators within the design context.
- Align design strategies with business goals and contribute to product roadmap discussions.

7. Measuring Design Impact

- Define and benchmark design success using user behaviour, product metrics, and business KPIs
- Evaluate and present actual user outcomes against expected outcomes (e.g., success rates, conversion, retention, user satisfaction)

8. Design promoter

- Promote best practices in UX, research, and visual design
- Elevate design quality and maturity across the team.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related fields.
- 5–9 years of experience in UX/Product Design.
- Experience working on complex product ecosystems - B2B & B2C.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX ownership and high-quality visual design
- Proven ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- Intermediate level of expertise in UX research methods and user-centered design principles
- Strong visual design skills and attention to detail • Proficiency in tools like Figma.
- Valuable stakeholder management and customer-facing communication & presentation experience being a plus.
- Ability to connect design work with business impact and metrics.
