Position description: The Associate Manager Business & Product Development will be responsible for driving global business growth for Precision Strips business. The role focuses on identifying and developing new customers across international markets, generating and qualifying leads, understanding customer requirements, and converting opportunities into sustainable business relationships.

The incumbent will work closely with sales, technical, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to position Jindal's precision strip products in targeted industries and applications. The role requires solid market intelligence, customer engagement, product understanding, and commercial acumen to develop new business opportunities and expand the company's global footprint.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Identify, map, and develop potential customers globally for steel precision strips across target industries and applications.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through market research, industry networking, customer outreach, trade fairs, digital platforms, and channel partners.
- Qualify leads by understanding customer requirements, application needs, sourcing patterns, technical specifications, and commercial potential.
- Develop and execute market penetration strategies for new geographies, industry segments, and strategic accounts.
- Engage with OEMs, distributors, service centers, processors, and end-users to create sustainable business opportunities.
- Coordinate with technical, quality, production, and R&D; teams to address customer requirements and develop customized product solutions.
- Prepare and present value propositions, technical-commercial proposals, and business cases to prospective customers.
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and contract finalization to secure profitable business.
- Monitor global market trends,



competitive activities, pricing dynamics, and emerging applications for precision strips.
- Track business development metrics including lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition, revenue pipeline, and market share growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance customer retention and repeat business.
- Represent the company at international exhibitions, industry forums, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new customers and successful execution of orders.
- Provide periodic business forecasts, market intelligence reports, and strategic recommendations to management.

Required work experience

Relevant Experience:

- Proven track record of identifying new customers, generating leads, qualifying opportunities, and converting prospects into business.
- Experience working with international customers and managing global business opportunities is highly desirable.
- Understanding of stainless steel precision strip applications, manufacturing processes, and value chains will be an advantage.
