Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Research Analyst - Sell side to join our Research team in Gurugram. The role will work closely with the Head of Research to support the distribution and commercialization of research products across Institutional, HNI, UHNI, Wealth, and Retail clients. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of capital markets, excellent client engagement skills, and the ability to effectively communicate investment ideas. This role combines research support with institutional sales, contributing to business growth by strengthening client relationships and expanding the reach of the firm's research offerings.

Key Responsibilities

- Promote and distribute the firm's research products, investment ideas, and market insights across Institutional, HNI, UHNI, Wealth, and Retail clients to drive business growth.
- Work closely with the Head of Research to understand research views, investment strategies, and market outlook, and effectively communicate them to clients through meetings, presentations, webinars, and investment discussions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, family offices, wealth managers, distributors, and other key market participants while identifying opportunities to expand the firm's research reach.
- Support the preparation, presentation, and timely dissemination of research reports, thematic notes, market updates, investment recommendations, and research products across multiple asset classes.
- Conduct market, sector, and company analysis to support the research team in generating actionable investment ideas and client-focused insights.
- Collaborate with Research, Sales,



and Relationship Management teams to understand client requirements, position relevant research solutions, and enhance client engagement.
- Gather market intelligence and client feedback to improve research offerings, identify new product opportunities, and strengthen the firm's research franchise.
- Ensure adherence to SEBI Research Analyst Regulations, internal compliance policies, and ethical standards while representing the firm's research desk professionally.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, MBA (Finance), CFA, CA, or an equivalent qualification.
- 5 8years of relevant experience in Sell-Side Research, Research Sales, Institutional Sales, Equity Advisory, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, or Stock Broking.
- Solid understanding of equity markets, company financials, valuation concepts, investment products, and capital market regulations with the ability to interpret and present research effectively.
- Experience engaging with Institutional Investors, HNI/UHNI clients, Family Offices, PMS, AIFs, Wealth Managers, or Distribution Partners will be preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and consultative selling skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Hands-on experience with research platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Workspace (Eikon), Capital IQ, ACE Equity, Trendlyne, or similar financial research tools.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365, and CRM platforms (Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot, or equivalent).
- Self-motivated professional with strong analytical ability, commercial acumen, and a good understanding of SEBI Research Analyst Regulations and research compliance practices.
