We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with solid expertise in Python and Java technologies, along with domain experience in Payments and/or Ticketing systems. The ideal candidate should also possess exposure to Embedded Devices or Embedded C/C++ environments to effectively collaborate with hardware and firmware teams.
The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable backend systems, APIs, microservices, and integrations supporting payment terminals, ticketing platforms, smart devices, or embedded products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Java.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Work closely with embedded/firmware teams for device communication and integration.
- Build backend services for payment systems, POS devices, ticketing platforms, or smart transit solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in system architecture, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and device protocols.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system availability.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD deployment pipelines.
