This Position reports to: Principal Software Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a strong Senior Software Developer / Senior UI Automation Engineer to lead modern automation engineering for cloud SaaS products in industrial digitalization.

In this role, you will drive UI and API automation, strengthen end-to-end quality validation, improve CI/CD feedback loops, and help shape a modern engineering approach using AI-assisted and agentic automation where it delivers real value.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Design, build, and evolve scalable UI automation frameworks for critical product workflows
- Drive UI, API, integration, and end-to-end automation for release-critical scenarios
- Improve automation reliability, maintainability, reporting, and pipeline execution quality
- Lead automation design decisions, framework improvements, and reusable engineering patterns
- Troubleshoot complex automation failures, flaky tests, and pipeline instability
- Support performance-focused validation, test data readiness, and simulation-based quality workflows where applicable
- Leverage AI-assisted and agentic automation approaches to improve development speed, coverage, and debugging effectiveness
- Partner with SMEs, developers, product teams,



and cross-functional stakeholders to align automation to business-critical flows
- Mentor engineers and raise the overall bar on automation quality and engineering discipline

Qualifications for the role:

- 610 years of experience in software development / automation engineering / quality engineering
- Robust coding experience in C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Protractor, or similar UI automation tools
- Proven experience in UI and API automation development
- Good understanding of automation framework architecture, code quality, design patterns, and CI/CD integration
- Strong understanding of web protocols, system architecture, debugging, and release-quality engineering
- Experience driving automation for complex business workflows and cross-system scenarios
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to guide technical direction and mentor team members
- Experience with agentic automation or AI-assisted development tools
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure
- Azure certifications
- Experience working with distributed / global teams
- Experience in performance engineering or industrial / simulation data validation
