We are seeking a dynamic leader to head our Quality Assurance functionoverseeing vendor, factory, and customer quality to ensure manufacturing processes align with business objectives on cost, quality, and delivery.
Role & responsibilities:
- As part of production team, the responsibilities of the QC engineer includes the following
- Inspection of components and sub assemblies at the vendor's end.
- Monitor and improve the quality of operational processes and outputs at vendors sites
- Development and maintenance of quality management system documentation
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
- Root Cause Analysis & Appropriate Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions.
- Data Collection and statistical analysis.
- MIS report generating and circulating to management on a regular basis.
- Liaison between procurement and assembly.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Proficient in understanding of engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of GD&T.;
- Knowledge and experience in sheet metal fabrication & machining processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and its tools.
- Familiarity with the use of MS office.
- Must possess positive verbal and written communication skills
