1. Job Description Objective

Person must have experience designing, developing, creating, and managing performance test suites. They must have experience interacting with development, testing, and management teams to relay useful information that leads to improvements to product. They must have or gain a good understanding of the product. Must be able to mentor junior engineers and/or peers in RD to improvement performance development and testing throughout the team.

Person should have a right balance of strong qualitative and analytical skills. Excellent time management, communication, decision making, presentation, leadership skills, human relations and organizations skills. Proven experience managing multiple performance test case suites. Proven experience in performance test case design, performance test case development, and/or of automated testing of software projects. They will then apply this knowledge to prove that LabVantage products perform as designed.

Designing, creating, planning, and managing performance test case suites.

This includes:

- Nightly, automated baseline testing suite
- Benchmark testing suite
- Load testing suite
- Endurance testing

Execution of load test scripts, loading review with script authors, and reporting results.

Technical coordination with development team to provide tuning suggestions.

Other testing activities including defect management, RD team meetings and coordination, and rare manual validation of defects. If junior performance testers are hired, person will be reduce design and execution allocations and increase this one to include person management.

Senior Tech Lead DevSecOps of Performance s responsibilities include the following: This is not an exhaustive task list and other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate or warranted by immediate manager.

- Design, develop execute performance tests suites (baseline, benchmark, load, stress, and endurance) using JMeter and Jenkins
- Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design
- Experience in analyzing thread locks, bottlenecks, thrashing and/or other database or web application server related performance issues, and then determining root cause(s)
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address all related performance issues
- Review architectural design for potential performance risks and other issues




- Problem solving and thinking laterally as a part of a team or individually to meet the needs of the project
- Propose other tools and approaches to better test performance and improve the product

1. 1. Job Qualifications Necessary:

- A Bachelor s or Master s degree (B.E/B.Tech/MCA) in Computer Science or related discipline
- 7+ years of demonstrated work experience in performance testing using JMeter or relate toolkits. Jenkins etc.
- Knowledge on APM tools (Dynatrace/ Datadog ) is highly preferable
- Knowledge of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, WebSocket, WebSocketSecure, XHR) and using a headless browser to access the internet
- Knowledge of JBCS HTTPD, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, Java Applications, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server
- Good documentation skills
- Working knowledge of Windows Linux. Must have the ability to perform most tasks from command line/terminal
- Knowledge of emerging DevOps methods and tools, such as agile/scrum, continuous integration, and test-driven development
- Must work on finetuning/load balancing/config setup
- Big-data analysis and intuition
- Robust Analytic skill and problem-solving ability
- Excellent English communication skills- Written and Oral
- High level of personal accountability and self-managed attitude to make progress in ambiguous situations
- Experience of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) software or Work experience in a Lab would be a huge advantage
