Job Title: Forward Deployed Engineer (GenAI – Telecom Domain)

Employment Type: Full-Time (Infomatics Corp)

Client: Telesat – Global Satellite Operator

Work Location: Remote (India)

Travel Requirement: Depending on team requirements, candidates may be required to travel to Canada approximately once every six months or once 1 year for team collaboration, planning sessions, or customer engagements. Max 20 Days.

About the Opportunity

Infomatics Corp is hiring experienced Forward Deployed Engineers (GenAI) to work with Telesat. The selected candidates will be full time employees of Infomatics Corp and will work remotely from India collaborating Directly with Telesat's global engineering teams. This is a customer-facing engineering role that combines software engineering, AI engineering, solution architecture, and telecom domain expertise to build production-ready Generative AI solutions.

Role Overview

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will partner with customers to design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale Generative AI applications for telecom and networking environments.

You will be responsible for transforming customer requirements into scalable AI-powered solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, semantic search, and cloud-native architectures.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing engineering role requiring strong software development skills,



production deployment experience, and deep understanding of telecom systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Build scalable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for enterprise knowledge retrieval.
- Develop backend services using Python, FastAPI, and REST APIs.
- Design document ingestion, embedding, vector indexing, and semantic search pipelines.
- Develop AI Agents and Agentic AI workflows for telecom use cases.
- Integrate OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or other enterprise LLMs with internal applications and telecom platforms.
- Work closely with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
- Deploy AI applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.
- Optimize applications for scalability, reliability, observability, security, and production readiness.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and Solution Architecture teams.
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and customer workshops.

Mandatory Qualifications

Experience

- 4–8 years of software engineering experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience building production-grade Generative AI applications.
- Experience delivering customer-facing enterprise solutions.
