Role & responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and React.js.
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Develop responsive, reusable, and high-performance frontend components.
- Design and implement secure, scalable backend services and databases.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive engineering excellence.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Preferred candidate profile :

- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
- Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.




- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
- Experience with Redis, Sidekiq, or background job processing.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Robust understanding of Git version control.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, OOP principles, and SOLID principles.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
