Diploma Engineer Wi-Fi & Video Surveillance System (VSS)

Job Summary

Skylark Telecom Services Pvt. Ltd. is hiring 5 Diploma Engineers for the Operation & Maintenance of RailTel's Wi-Fi and Video Surveillance System (VSS) network. The selected candidates will be stationed at Ropar, Bathinda, Haridwar, Bhagalpur, and Balamau, and will be responsible for maintaining telecom and networking infrastructure at railway stations within their respective sections.

- Ropar (Punjab)
- Bathinda (Punjab)
- Haridwar (Uttarakhand)
- Bhagalpur (Bihar)
- Balamau (Uttar Pradesh)

Accomodation: Shared accomodation shall be provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintenance of Railway Wi-Fi and Video Surveillance (VSS) systems.
- Troubleshooting of network connectivity issues.
- Maintenance of Fiber Optic Network and passive infrastructure.
- Maintenance of Layer-2/Layer-3 Network Switches.
- UPS, Battery and Power System maintenance.
- Maintenance of Wi-Fi Access Points.
- Maintenance of CCTV Cameras and Network Video Recorder systems.
- Preventive maintenance of Servers, Workstations and Display Systems.
- Monthly cleaning and health check of CCTV cameras and electronic equipment.
- Coordination with RailTel NOC for fault resolution.




- Coordination with Railway S&T; Department and RPF officials.
- Coordination with OEMs and vendor support teams during fault rectification.
- Maintain service reports, fault logs and preventive maintenance records.
- Ensure SLA compliance and timely restoration of services.

Educational Qualification - Diploma in:

- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Computer Science Engineering (CSE)
- Information Technology (IT)
- Electronics Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Desired Candidate Profile

- Railway, Telecom, ISP or CCTV maintenance experience will be preferred.
- Knowledge of OFC, Networking and CCTV will be an added advantage.
- Must possess valuable troubleshooting skills.
- Physically fit for field work.
- Should be willing to work during emergencies, including weekends and nights if required.
- Two-wheeler with valid driving licence will be preferred.
