Position: Packaging & Brand Design Specialist

We are looking for a designer who enjoys solving business problems through packaging, branding, and visual communication not someone who only creates artwork.

This role requires equal passion for creativity, structural packaging, print production, and customer experience. You'll work closely with customers, sales teams, production, and vendors to transform ideas into premium products that are both visually appealing and commercially manufacturable.

What Makes This Role Different?

This isn't a traditional graphic design role. You'll work across the complete lifecycle of a premium packaging project from customer discussions and structural concepts to production-ready artwork, sampling, manufacturing, and final delivery.

Your work won't remain on a computer screen. You'll see your ideas become real products used by leading brands across India.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging Design

- Design luxury rigid boxes, magnetic boxes, drawer boxes, book-style boxes, collapsible boxes, and presentation kits
- Design premium paper bags, presentation folders, retail packaging, luxury gift boxes, and product inserts
- Create innovative packaging concepts for premium products and corporate gifting

Packaging Engineering

- Prepare accurate dielines and structural layouts
- Develop folding, locking, insert, and assembly concepts
- Understand packaging dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturability

Packaging Materials Knowledge Candidate should understand and work confidently with:

- Grey board, Duplex board, SBS/FBB
- Kraft papers, specialty papers, textured papers
- Fabric wraps, PU papers
- EVA/EPE inserts, foam, paper inserts
- Magnets, ribbons

Manufacturing Understanding

- Understand rigid box manufacturing processes
- Visit production floor during development
- Support sampling and prototype approvals
- Resolve artwork and production issues
- Ensure designs are practical for manufacturing

Client Interaction

- Participate in customer meetings whenever required to understand design requirements
- Present design concepts and packaging ideas professionally

Quality Ownership

- Review final production samples before customer approval
- Ensure finished products match approved artwork and brand standards
- Minimize design-related production errors and rework

Artwork Approval & Revision Management

- Coordinate customer artwork approvals
- Maintain version control of artwork files




- Implement customer corrections accurately
- Archive final approved artwork for future production

Print & Prepress

- Prepare production-ready artwork
- Perform preflight checks for fonts, colors, bleed, margins, linked images, and resolution
- Generate print-ready PDFs and proof files
- Ensure accurate CMYK and Pantone color management
- Coordinate with external printers to ensure colour accuracy, print quality, and production feasibility

Corporate Gifting & Merchandise

- Design employee welcome kits, festive hampers, gift boxes, promotional kits, and branded merchandise
- Create presentation concepts that enhance customer experience

Branding & Marketing

- Design brochures, product catalogues, flyers, presentation folders, exhibition graphics, posters, social media creatives, website banners, and marketing materials

Mockups & Visualization

- Develop realistic product mockups and presentation visuals for customer approvals
- Prepare packaging presentations and sales-support creatives

Cross-functional Coordination

- Work closely with Sales, Production, Purchase, Vendors, and Customers to ensure timely execution
- Coordinate artwork approvals and production requirements

Innovation

- Research global packaging trends, luxury packaging concepts, materials, finishes, and branding ideas
- Contribute new product concepts and packaging innovations

- Photography sense for product presentations

Knowledge of luxury rigid box construction will be given strong preference.

Nice to Have

- Understanding of paper GSMs and board thicknesses

Education

Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Packaging Technology, Industrial Design, or equivalent.
