TITLE - JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Supply Chain Manager
Job summary:

Supply chain plan, understand requirements from HQ and plan production of API and FDF closely with CMO partners (Create daily planner in discussion with partners), supply plan, API availability planning for FDF production, organize necessary QA permissions for FDF production at CMOs, visit companies, deal with the documentation, prepare databases.
Project manager skills required to coordinate required activities between CMO partner and HQ on supply, planning, purchasing and logistics topics.
Logistics, coordinate with forwarders and manufacturers for container placements, get quotations from freight forwarders for Sea, Air and Road shipments, handle of inbound shipments to import site under GDP compliance and annual reporting on Logistics.
Tasks and duties:
Set expectations and drive performance in the Supply Plan and Logistics team.
Receive demand from HQ and plan production of FDF in discussion with CMO partners
Visit business partners in India and abroad if its necessary, follow up the status, deliveries on CM projects (intermediates, APIs, FDFs)
Be involved in organization of deliveries/transport of material from India to Slovenia
Introduction of new employees
Prepare various databases about products and partners
Coordinate with HQ purchasing department to ensure partner is executing POs as per required delivery dates, commercial terms and in compliance with contract manufacturing agreement.
Collect basic information about suppliers of intermediate products, active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products, contacting raw material manufacturers in writing and in person




Monitor of raw and packing material stock and delivery dates in database
Forward results to Inter departments and partners
Comparison of Air and Sea freight rates on monthly basis with forwarders.
Verification of freight invoices and update the details in Logistics summary sheet.
Participate in new projects and provide input related to Logistics if any.
Logistics monthly/quarterly/annual reports with savings.
New freight vendor evaluation.
Carry out tasks and duties in compliance with the rules relating to quality assurance, safety and health, fire safety, and workplace.
Perform all other tasks assigned by the superior(s) in compliance with the employee's qualifications and needs of the work process.

Senior Supply chain Manager is responsible (organizationally, professionally and disciplinary) for his/her work to Director of Representative Office.
Required Skills

- Strong Knowledge of CMO coordination, PPIC, inventory management, procurement and commercial exports
- Hands on experience in ERP and MS office.
- Familiarity with GDP, GMP and EU export documentation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Manage and mentor a small team responsible for planning, material coordination and logistic follow up.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in pharmacy, Supply chain or related discipline.
- 10-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain/project management/ procurement
