Role & responsibilities

- Coordinate with buyers regarding order confirmation, product specifications, approvals, production status, and delivery schedules.
- Understand and interpret buyer Tech Packs, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A;) Calendar and ensure all milestones are achieved on time.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure material requirements are accurate.
- Prepare and update Costing Sheets for products.
- Coordinate with the Sampling team for sample development, approvals, and buyer feedback.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, Purchase, and Dispatch departments for smooth order execution.
- Follow up on raw material, yarn, trims, accessories, and packaging material availability.
- Monitor production progress and ensure orders are completed as per production plan and delivery commitments.
- Track daily production status and proactively resolve delays or production issues.
- Ensure buyer quality standards and product specifications are followed during production.
- Coordinate with the Quality team for inline, midline, and final inspections.




- Maintain merchandising documentation, order files, purchase records, production reports, and MIS.
- Prepare order status reports and share regular updates with buyers and management.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement of materials.
- Ensure shipment readiness by coordinating with dispatch and logistics teams.
- Monitor order profitability by reviewing costing and controlling material wastage.
- Resolve buyer queries and internal coordination issues efficiently.
- Ensure timely execution of orders while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Perform any other merchandising-related responsibilities assigned by the management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate/MBA/Textile/Fashion background preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Production Merchandising.
- Good knowledge of T&A;, BOM, Costing Sheet, Tech Pack, Order Management, and Buyer Coordination.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Solid communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
