Job Summary
The Associate Teacher supports the academic team in delivering high-quality classroom instruction for students of Classes VI–X (or IX–X depending on school requirements). The role focuses on strengthening students' conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, academic performance, and preparation for board and competitive examinations while maintaining a disciplined and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
- Assist senior faculty in planning and delivering subject-specific lessons.
- Teach Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry as per CBSE/State Board curriculum.
- Develop students' conceptual clarity and analytical thinking.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with the academic calendar.
- Conduct revision sessions, doubt-clearing classes, and remedial coaching.
- Support preparation for Olympiads, NTSE, Foundation, JEE/NEET Foundation, and other competitive examinations where applicable.
- Maintain lesson plans, teaching records, and academic documentation.
Student Assessment
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback.
- Analyze student performance and identify learning gaps.
- Maintain student progress reports and academic records.
- Communicate academic progress with parents during PTMs.
Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and positive classroom behaviour.
- Encourage active participation and collaborative learning.
- Create an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
- Ensure student safety and well-being during classroom and laboratory activities.
Subject-Specific Responsibilities
Mathematics
- Teach Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Statistics, Probability, and Coordinate Geometry.
- Develop logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Conduct regular practice sessions for board examination preparation.
Physics
- Teach concepts related to Motion, Force, Work & Energy, Electricity, Light, Sound, Magnetism, and Modern Physics.
- Conduct laboratory demonstrations and practical sessions.
- Encourage experimental learning and scientific thinking.
Chemistry
- Teach Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry fundamentals.
- Conduct laboratory practicals safely.
- Demonstrate chemical reactions and scientific applications.

Educational Qualification
Mathematics
- B.Sc./M.Sc. Mathematics
- B.Ed. (Preferred/Required)
Physics

Chemistry
- B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry
- B.Ed. (Preferred/Required)
Experience
- 0–3 years for Associate Teacher positions.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge may be considered.
- Prior experience in CBSE/ICSE/State Board schools is preferred.
- Experience in Foundation/IIT-JEE/NEET coaching is an added advantage.
