Hair Transplant Doctor Roles & Responsibilities

- Consult patients with hair loss and assess if they are suitable for a hair transplant.
- Explain the procedure, expected results, risks, and recovery process.
- Design a natural hairline based on the patient's facial features.
- Perform hair transplant surgery (FUE/DHI/Sapphire FUE as applicable).
- Administer local anesthesia safely.
- Ensure proper extraction, handling, and implantation of hair grafts.
- Maintain strict hygiene and sterile conditions during surgery.
- Monitor the patient throughout the procedure and manage any complications.
- Prescribe medications and provide post-operative care instructions.
- Conduct follow-up visits to monitor healing and hair growth.
- Recommend additional treatments such as PRP, GFC, or medications when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, consent forms, and clinical photographs.




- Work closely with nurses and technicians to ensure smooth surgical procedures.
- Follow all medical ethics, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality standards.
- Provide high-quality care to ensure the best possible patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

- MDS Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS)
- MD/DNB Dermatology
- MCh/DNB – Plastic Surgery
- MS General Surgery (with certified hair transplant training)
- MBBS Doctors with recognized hair transplant training and relevant experience (as permitted under applicable regulations)
- Any other qualified medical qualified with formal training and hands-on experience in hair transplant procedures.
