Role Overview -
We are looking for an experienced and analytical Treasury Analyst to support the Group's treasury function across a complex, multi-entity organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing liquidity, cash forecasting, banking operations, debt funding, treasury governance, and reporting while partnering closely with the Group Finance Director.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in contributing to the establishment, enhancement, or transformation of a corporate treasury function, with exposure to treasury processes, banking infrastructure, controls, governance, and reporting. This role requires someone who can work independently, provide meaningful financial insights, and make an immediate impact while supporting treasury transformation initiatives and the continued development of best-in-class treasury operations across the Group.
Key Responsibilities -
- Support daily treasury operations across a complex multi-entity workplace, including cash positioning, liquidity monitoring, banking transactions, and funding activities to ensure efficient cash utilization.
- Prepare and maintain short-term, medium-term, and rolling 13-week cash flow forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage banking operations, including bank account administration, KYC documentation, mandates, authorised signatories, banking platforms, user access controls, corporate credit card programmes, and banking relationships.
- Support debt funding activities, including borrowing facilities, covenant calculations, lender reporting, refinancing initiatives, acquisition funding requirements, and treasury analysis.
- Prepare treasury dashboards, liquidity reports, cash flow analysis, treasury MIS, and management reports to support senior leadership and business decision-making.
- Maintain a strong treasury control environment by supporting internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with treasury policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the establishment, enhancement, and continuous improvement of treasury processes, controls, Treasury Management Systems (TMS), banking integrations, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
- Support treasury-related strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, treasury transformation projects, banking integrations, and process standardisation across the Group.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, external banks, and lenders to strengthen treasury operations and support the continued development of the Group's treasury function.
Key Skills & Competencies -
- Strong understanding of Corporate Treasury, Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Treasury Operations, Banking Operations, Treasury Controls, and Treasury Governance.
- Hands-on experience in cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, treasury reporting, debt funding, financial analysis, and banking operations.
- Experience managing banking infrastructure, including bank accounts, banking platforms, user access controls, mandates, authorised signatories, and banking relationships.
- Experience contributing to the establishment, enhancement, or transformation of a corporate treasury function, including treasury processes, banking infrastructure, treasury controls, governance, and reporting frameworks.
- Exposure to debt facilities, covenant reporting, lender relationships, refinancing activities, and acquisition funding.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial information and provide meaningful recommendations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, financial modelling, dashboards, and reporting).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar financial applications. Exposure to Treasury Management Systems (TMS) will be highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make an immediate impact in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications -
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- MBA (Finance), ACA/ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent qualified qualification will be an added advantage.
- 35 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Treasury Operations, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, or Banking within a complex, multi-entity organization.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to the establishment, enhancement, or transformation of treasury processes, banking infrastructure, treasury controls, governance, and reporting frameworks.
- Experience working in multinational organizations, Global Capability Centers (GCCs), Shared Services (SSC), or large corporate treasury environments will be preferred.
- Exposure to Treasury Management Systems (TMS), treasury transformation initiatives, acquisitions, banking integrations, debt funding, and liquidity management will be an added advantage.
