About the Role

The Gurukulam School (TGS), Jaipur is seeking a passionate, energetic, and creative Dance Teacher who can inspire students through the art of dance. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Indian and/or Western dance forms, capable of choreographing performances, and committed to fostering students' confidence, creativity, and stage presence in a secure and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging dance classes for students across different grade levels.
- Teach one or more dance styles such as Classical, Folk, Contemporary, Bollywood, Hip-Hop, or Western.
- Choreograph and prepare students for assemblies, annual functions, competitions, and cultural events.
- Develop students' rhythm, coordination, flexibility, expression, and stage confidence.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with the school's co-curricular objectives.




- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure discipline and safety during dance sessions and rehearsals.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leadership for school events and performances.
- Maintain costumes, props, music, and dance-related resources.
- Stay updated with current dance techniques and teaching methodologies.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma/Certification in Dance or Performing Arts.
- Relevant teaching experience in a reputed school is preferred.
- Strong choreography and performance skills.
- Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
- Passion for working with children and promoting holistic development.
