Role & responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical and utility equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to pumps, compressors, chillers, DG sets, UPS systems, transformers,
and other utility systems.
- Monitor equipment condition and support reliability improvement initiatives for plant and utility
operations.
- Coordinate with production, utility, and maintenance teams for planned maintenance and
shutdown activities.
- Ability to handle Shift operation independently. Willingness to work in rotational shifts and support
emergency maintenance activity whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, SOPs, and plant maintenance practice during the shift
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance of rotating equipment, Pneumatic systems, and preventive
maintenance practice in cable plants.
- Knowledge of bearing replacement, Shaft alignment, and machine alignments.
- Basic knowledge of DG sets, compressors, chillers, pumps, UPS systems, and transformers.
- Robust troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills with flexibility to work in shifts if
required.
- Basic understanding of SAP & spare parts management and machine condition monitoring during
shift operation.
- Maintain proper shift handover, maintenance records, and reporting activities.
