Desktop Engineer L2

Location: Dahej, Gujarat
Experience: 2+ years

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and standard business applications (MS Office, Outlook, VPN, antivirus, ERP clients).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and printer connectivity.
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions (Active Directory/Office 365 where applicable).
- Log, track, and resolve incidents using ITSM tools such as ManageEngine, ServiceNow, Jira, or Freshservice.
- Perform OS installation, patch management, antivirus updates, and system imaging.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with audits.
- Coordinate with L3 teams and vendors for complex issues.
- Support current user onboarding, device setup, and employee offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and service-level agreements (SLAs).
