Essential Job Functions:
- Lead PMO governance and execution tracking for the initiative driven by recent policy and regulatory changes, ensuring clear visibility into scope, milestones, ownership, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestone trackers, RAID logs, decision logs, action-item trackers, communication plans, governance decks, and leadership status reports to support structured program execution.
- Coordinate across multiple healthcare payer functions, including health economics, encounter data, benefits, pricing, medical management, claims editing, policy, customer service, documentation, provider relations, contracting, technology, and operations teams.
- Support impact assessment and implementation readiness planning for claims systems, fee schedules, utilization management policies, global CPT code dependencies, standalone Evaluation and Management billing readiness, provider communications, contract amendments, and customer service messaging.
- Translate policy, coding, reimbursement, and operational changes into actionable workstream plans, readiness trackers, stakeholder updates, executive summaries, and implementation roadmaps.
- Drive structured governance routines, including weekly status reviews, stakeholder syncs, leadership updates, risk and issue reviews, dependency reviews, and closure tracking for open decisions and action items.
- Prepare concise and leadership-ready presentations, executive dashboards, weekly / monthly reports, progress summaries, and decision-support materials for senior stakeholder forums.
- Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, deliverables,
and implementation milestones; proactively identify blockers and escalate risks requiring leadership intervention.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and vendor resources to clarify deliverables, define ownership, track timelines, manage acceptance criteria, and ensure timely closure of open items.
- Support cross-functional readiness across policy, claims, provider, benefits, reimbursement, pricing, medical management, customer service, and documentation teams to enable coordinated implementation.
- Maintain accurate project repositories, documentation libraries, governance artifacts, and audit-ready trackers to ensure transparency, consistency, and accessibility of program information.
- Analyze project updates, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder inputs to synthesize key insights, summarize implications, and provide clear recommendations for leadership review.
- Support prioritization and sequencing of workstream activities to ensure critical path items are identified, tracked, and progressed in alignment with enterprise implementation timelines.
- Facilitate coordination between business, operations, policy, technology, and vendor teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, handoffs, and downstream operational impacts.
- Identify opportunities to simplify project tracking, automate manual reporting, improve governance processes, and enhance transparency through dashboards and structured reporting tools.
- Apply solid analytical, problem-solving, and consultative thinking to support complex healthcare transformation work where policy, coding, reimbursement, claims, provider, and operational impacts intersect.
