Employment type: Contract / Consulting (not a permanent role)
Engagement: Approximately 3 to 4 months for a pilot build, with potential extension into later phases
Location: Bengaluru or Remote (India)
Experience: 4 to 8 years, with at least 3 years hands-on Microsoft Power Platform delivery
Start: Immediate
About the role
Svvatech is building a single-tenant enterprise compliance-intelligence application on Microsoft Power Platform and Azure, with AI integration through Azure OpenAI. We are hiring experienced Power Platform developers on a contract basis to build the Canvas application, the Power Automate flows and the Dataverse-backed automation, on a compressed, gated delivery schedule. Designs, a component library and a flow kit are supplied, so this is hands-on build work for people who can deliver fast, correctly, and to a professional standard.
Key responsibilities
- Build Canvas apps in Power Fx from supplied designs and component patterns: screens, reusable components, navigation and role-based views.
- Build and wire Power Automate cloud flows: ingestion, scheduled scans, alerts and approvals, using premium connectors, HTTP actions, error handling and retries.
- Work across a Dataverse data model: tables, columns, relationships, choice sets, security roles and alternate keys, with delegation-safe queries.
- Integrate flows with Azure Functions endpoints and Azure OpenAI over HTTP, to a defined request-and-response contract.
- Follow ALM discipline: managed solutions, Dev to Test to Production promotion, source control,
environment variables and connection references.
- Build and test on synthetic data, keep queries delegable under volume, and write clean, maintainable Power Fx.
Must-have skills
- Hands-on Canvas app development in Power Fx (not only model-driven apps).
- Robust Power Automate cloud-flow authoring, including premium connectors, HTTP actions and robust error handling.
- Dataverse data modelling and security roles, with a genuine understanding of delegation and how to keep queries delegable at scale.
- Solution ALM: managed versus unmanaged, environments, promotion, environment variables and connection references.
- Ability to work from written specifications and a supplied build kit and deliver to gated milestones.
Good to have
- Azure Functions or Azure OpenAI integration experience.
- PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) with React and TypeScript for custom controls.
- Microsoft 365 Graph or document-management integration (for example SharePoint or iManage).
- Experience in compliance, legal, insurance or other regulated-domain applications.
- Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400 or PL-500).
Engagement details
- Contract / consulting basis, not permanent.
- Duration approximately 3 to 4 months, extendable.
- Remote / hybrid / on-site specify
- Immediate availability preferred.
To apply
Share examples of Canvas apps and non-trivial Power Automate flows you have built, and be ready to discuss a delegation problem you solved and a complex flow you designed.
