Payroll Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities

Payroll Management

- Process monthly payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
- Verify attendance, leaves, overtime, incentives, and deductions before payroll processing.
- Maintain payroll records and salary registers.
- Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement and statutory compliance.
- Handle employee payroll-related queries and concerns.
- Generate payroll reports, salary slips, and reimbursement statements.

. Time Office Management

- Monitor daily attendance through biometric and attendance management systems.
- Track employee absenteeism, late arrivals, early departures, and shift schedules.
- Maintain leave records and attendance reports.
- Coordinate with department heads regarding attendance discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate attendance data for payroll processing.

- HR Operations & Employee Records
- Maintain employee master database and HRMS records.
- Manage employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Prepare HR letters including experience letters, relieving letters, and employment verification documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and HR procedures.
- Maintain confidential employee information and documentation.
- . Statutory Compliance Support
- Assist in PF, ESIC, PT, LWF,



and other statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate with consultants and government authorities for compliance-related matters.
- Maintain compliance records and documentation.

. HR Reporting & MIS

- Prepare monthly HR reports related to recruitment, attendance, attrition, and payroll.
- Generate manpower reports and headcount analysis.
- Maintain recruitment and payroll dashboards for management review.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

- Strong knowledge of Payroll Processing and Time Office Management.
- Experience with HRMS, Biometric Attendance Systems, and Payroll Software.
- Knowledge of Labour Laws, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and Statutory Compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust organizational and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HR reporting tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.

Experience

- 3 to 7 years of experience in Recruitment, Payroll, Time Office, and HR Operations.
