We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer( 10+ years experience ) with robust backend expertise and system design capabilities to support the transformation of our existing monolithic applications into scalable microservices architecture.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java backend development, cloud-native applications, and containerization, along with a solid understanding of secure coding practices and payment systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Modernization
- Analyze and understand existing monolithic / legacy applications
- Design and implement microservices-based architecture
- Break down complex systems into loosely coupled, scalable services
- Ensure smooth migration with minimal business disruption
2. Backend Development (Core Focus)
- Develop and maintain Java-based backend services
- Build RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
- Implement business logic for high-volume transaction systems
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability
3. System Design & Architecture
- Define service boundaries and architecture patterns
- Apply best practices in:
- Microservices design
- API gateway patterns
- Resiliency and fault tolerance
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architecture decisions.
4. Cloud-Native Development
- Build and deploy cloud-ready applications
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Ensure applications follow cloud-native principles (scalability, observability, resilience)
5. Containerization & Orchestration
- Containerize applications using Docker
- Deploy and manage services using Kubernetes
- Ensure efficient resource utilization and scalability in containerized environments
- Follow DevOps and CI/CD processes
6. Secure Coding & Compliance
- Implement secure coding practices
- Ensure:
- Data protection
- Secure API communication
- Compliance with security standards
- Address vulnerabilities and enforce best practices
7. Frontend Development (Supporting Role)
- Work with React / Angular for UI components
- Integrate frontend with backend services
- Ensure functional and responsive user interfaces
8. Database Development
- Write and optimize SQL queries
- Work with Oracle / PostgreSQL databases
- Support data handling and debugging
Required Skills
Core Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17+)
- Hands-on experience with Structs / Spring Boot / Spring Framework
- Experience in REST API and microservices development
- Strong system design and architecture knowledge
