Role - Plant Head

Location - Assam & Odisha

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end plant operations, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch.
- Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and optimize resources.
- Monitor plant performance through KPIs and drive continuous process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Lead and mentor production and operations teams to enhance performance and accountability.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain teams for smooth production planning and dispatch.
- Manage plant budgets, inventory control, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Handle customer audits, internal audits, and implement corrective actions where required.




- Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and uninterrupted plant operations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Polymer, Plastic Technology, or a related discipline. An MBA/PG qualification will be an added advantage.
- 10+ years of experience in the plastic manufacturing industry, with significant exposure to plant operations and team management.
- Solid knowledge of production planning, quality systems, maintenance, inventory management, and process optimization.
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and people management skills with the ability to lead large teams.
- Candidates with experience in Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Extrusion, or similar plastic manufacturing processes will be preferred.
