- Snowflake Administration & Operations: Administer and manage Snowflake environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod)
- Configure and manage virtual warehouses, databases, schemas, and resource monitors
- Monitor system performance, query execution, and warehouse utilization
- Participate in Snowflake account setup, configuration, and upgrades
- Security & Access Management: Manage users, roles, privileges, and role hierarchy
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC)
- Integrate Snowflake with SSO / Azure AD / Okta
Technical and Qualified Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Snowflake Administrator
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud
- Deep understanding of: Snowflake architecture
- Virtual warehouses
- Micro-partitions
- Time Travel and Fail-safe
- Experience with SQL performance tuning
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Snowflake replication and failover
- Exposure to Snowflake data sharing
- Automation using Python or PowerShell
- Experience integrating Snowflake with ETL tools (Informatica, ADF, Airflow)
- Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Core / Advanced)
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy)
