Omji is an early-stage spiritual hospitality startup operating ashrams across India's holiest destinations Ayodhya, Vrindavan, Varanasi, Uttarkashi, and Yamunotri.

We are building a new category in spiritual hospitality by combining traditional values with modern hospitality standards and technology-enabled operations.

Our properties are listed across leading travel platforms, including MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Google Hotels, ixigo, and TripJack. We are currently at an early institutional funding stage and are scaling rapidly across multiple locations.

About the Role

This is a high-impact Operations position designed for someone who wants to work at the intersection of strategy, operations, finance, growth, and execution.

You will work directly with the Founder, an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA), gaining front-row exposure to how a business is built, scaled, and managed. You will see how strategic decisions are made, how numbers are translated into business insights, how priorities are set, and how vision is converted into execution across teams and geographies.

If you've worked closely with CXOs, managed complex cross-functional programs, and thrive in high-impact environments, this opportunity could be your next big move.

What You'll Be Working On

Operations Excellence & Business Transformation

- Handle the end to end launch of new cities.
- Hiring, standardising operational processes
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of operational performance
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Improve systems, workflows, and governance mechanisms to enhance efficiency
- Support expansion projects, new property launches, and special initiatives

Business Performance & Financial Operations

- Ashram payouts and Cash Reconciliation
- Monitor revenue, occupancy, profitability, and operational performance metrics
- Conduct financial and operational analysis to support decision-making
- Work with finance and operations teams on budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking

Leadership Support & Governance

- Serve as a key coordination point between leadership and operating teams
- Track organizational goals, OKRs, and business priorities
- Drive accountability across teams by monitoring execution and follow-through
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment on key objectives
- Ensure governance mechanisms and reporting structures support sustainable growth

Stakeholder & Relationship Management





- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, guest experience, and business functions
- Build strong working relationships with city teams and functional leaders
- Support leadership communication and strategic initiatives as required
- Represent founder priorities and ensure alignment across teams

What We're Looking For

- 3-5 years of skilled experience
- Experience in hospitality operations mandatory
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with data, numbers, and business metrics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong project management and execution capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Hindi and English
- Willingness to travel regularly across North India
- High ownership mindset with a strong bias for action
