Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for residential, commercial, and high-rise projects. The ideal candidate should have 58 years of hands-on experience in the real estate/construction industry with sound knowledge of complete MEP systems, execution, quality control, testing & commissioning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and monitor complete Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities from execution to commissioning.
- Coordinate MEP works with civil, architectural, structural, and finishing teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Supervise installation of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, firefighting, fire alarm, ELV, STP, WTP, DG sets, lifts, and other building services.
- Ensure all MEP works are executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship, material quality, and installation practices.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors,



and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, BOQs, and work completion for MEP activities.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and project handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, IS Codes, local authority regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and approving MEP materials and equipment.
- Maintain proper documentation, inspection records, and quality reports throughout the project lifecycle.

- ELV Systems (CCTV, Access Control, PA, BMS, Data & Voice)
- STP/WTP
- Water Supply & Drainage
- Lifts & Escalators
- DG Sets and Electrical Distribution

- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and coordinated layouts.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, material reconciliation, and contractor billing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
- Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures and quality control processes.
- Valuable understanding of construction safety standards and statutory compliance.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
