Owns the technical onboarding experience end-to-end: deploys Starburst across customer environments, from initial infrastructure and security setup through validation and go-live.
- Project-manages installations — owns timelines and proactively diagnoses and resolves technical obstacles
- Juggles multiple concurrent onboardings against budget and margin goals
- Acts as the Starburst Enterprise expert, guiding customers on scale and performance decisions
- Serves as the eyes and ears of the delivery team — raising risks and mitigating downstream blockers
- Skills: Trino/Presto (prereq), distributed systems, Hadoop (HDFS/Hive), Docker & Kubernetes, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP/OpenShift), security (LDAP/Kerberos, SSL/TLS), and hands-on Java, Bash, Python, SQL
