Job Description:

- Specialist with 12+ years of experience delivering large-scale cloud infrastructure modernization, platform engineering, and migration programs across enterprise and telecom environments.
- Robust expertise in assessing application and infrastructure readiness, planning migration strategies, and executing workload transitions from virtualized platforms to Kubernetes/OpenShift environments running on bare metal and cloud infrastructure.

Core Expertise

- Cloud migration planning, readiness assessments, dependency analysis, and migration execution.
- Virtual machine to container platform migrations (VMware/OpenStack to Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Kubernetes and OpenShift cluster validation, operations, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
- OpenStack administration, operations, and infrastructure management.
- Linux systems administration, automation, and shell scripting.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and operational automation.
- Storage validation and persistence management (including Ceph-backed environments).
- CI/CD, GitOps, and DevOps practices.
- Monitoring, observability, and production health validation using enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Infrastructure troubleshooting, performance optimization, and operational support.
- Cross-functional collaboration with networking, storage, platform, and application teams during migration programs.
