Responsible for driving endtoend talent acquisition processes to ensure timely recruitment of skilled, semiskilled, and managerial workforce for manufacturing operations. The role supports organizational growth by aligning manpower planning with production and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manpower Planning - Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs.
- Talent Sourcing - Identify candidates through job portals, campus drives, apprenticeship programs and vendor networks.
- Recruitment Process - Manage job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offer rollouts.
- Onboarding & Induction - Ensure smooth joining formalities and orientation for recent hires.
- Compliance Hiring - Adhere to statutory norms (ESI, PF, NAPS, contract labour).
- Vendor & Contractor Coordination- Liaise with recruitment agencies, labour contractors, and training partners.
- Employee Engagement - Support induction programs,
grievance handling, and retention initiatives.
- MIS & Reporting - Maintain recruitment dashboards, candidate databases, and submit periodic reports.
- Process Improvement - Recommend strategies to reduce attrition and improve hiring efficiency.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing recruitment practices.
- Experience in handling HRMS tools
- Ability to manage bluecollar and whitecollar hiring simultaneously.
- Negotiation and vendor management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–6 years of recruitment experience in manufacturing sector (preferably mattresses or allied industries).
- Exposure to apprenticeship programs (NAPS) and contract labour management.
