Position Summary

The Implementation Director will lead and oversee large-scale implementation projects and ongoing SaaS solution configuration operations in India, managing a team of 100+ resources. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in managing large teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex client solutions.

The Implementation Director will play a pivotal role in scaling operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring that Gallaghers solutions are deployed effectively to meet client expectations and align with global standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with robust leadership skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive implementation strategy to support business growth and client satisfaction.
- Align implementation processes with Gallaghers global standards and best practices.

- Client Onboarding:

- Lead the teams who deliver the end-to-end client onboarding process,



ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for client teams, supporting capacity/slot planning, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

- Operational Excellence:

- Drive operational efficiency by implementing scalable processes, leveraging technology, and optimizing workflows.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

- Program Management:

- Oversee multiple implementation projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, with accuracy, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate risks to project timelines and deliverables.

- Team Leadership:

- Manage and mentor a team of implementation and quality assurance specialists, project managers, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, IT, and client services, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, challenges, and opportunities.

- Change Management:

- Lead change management initiatives to support the adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies across the team and client base.




- Communicate the value of change to stakeholders and ensure buy-in at all levels.

- Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure all implementation activities comply with local regulations and Gallagher’s internal policies.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on implementation performance and client feedback.

Qualifications and Skills

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

- Experience:

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in implementation, project management, or operations supporting software implementation processes, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in the insurance, risk management, or consulting industry is highly desirable.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

- Certifications:

- PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma, or equivalent certification is a plus.
