Versa Drives Private Limited is a leading electronics manufacturing company specializing in motor control technology and energy-productive electronic products. We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our electronics assembly operations, drive production excellence, and achieve world-class manufacturing performance.

Position Summary

The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling day-to-day manufacturing activities to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. The role requires strong leadership in electronics assembly, manpower management, productivity improvement, and continuous process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and control daily production activities to achieve production targets.

Ensure Plan vs. Actual production achievement and take immediate corrective actions for any deviations.

Monitor daily production output, line efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.

Manage electronics assembly operations, including PCB assembly, wiring, testing, motor assembly, fan assembly, packing, and dispatch readiness.

Ensure uninterrupted production by coordinating with Procurement, Stores, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D.;

Monitor manpower allocation, shift planning, attendance, and workforce productivity.

Ensure line balancing and optimize production capacity to maximize output.

Drive reduction of cycle time, rework, rejection,



and production losses through continuous improvement initiatives.

Review daily production reports, WIP status, material shortages, and bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and ESD practices.

Coordinate preventive maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, safety regulations, and company quality standards.

Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and operators to build a high-performance manufacturing team.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ECE, EEE)

1012 years of production experience.

Mandatory experience in Electronics Manufacturing, EMS, PCB Assembly, Electrical Products.

Strong knowledge of production planning, assembly processes, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, OEE, ERP/MRP systems, and manpower management.
