Position: Head -Finance & Accounts
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Governance

- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong financial governance and internal control frameworks.

Accounting Operations Management

- Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll Accounting
- General Ledger Management

- Ensure proper financial record keeping, reconciliation, and compliance with accounting policies.

Compliance & Regulatory Management

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards including GAAP/AS and IND AS.
- Strengthen internal controls, risk management frameworks, and financial policies.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external consultants when required.

Strategic Financial Planning

- Partner with senior management in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy development.
- Provide insights through MIS reports, financial analysis, and business performance metrics.
- Support decision-making by evaluating financial risks, investment opportunities,



and cost optimization initiatives.

Audit & Assurance

- Manage and coordinate Concurrent, Internal, and Statutory Audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain effective relationships with auditors, consultants, and financial institutions.

Asset & Inventory Governance

- Ensure periodic physical verification of assets and inventories.
- Maintain proper asset registers and valuation records.
- Oversee insurance coverage of company assets and inventories to mitigate operational risks.

Leadership & Team Development

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen team capabilities through training, performance management, and process optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, procurement, and management teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education

- Chartered Accountant (CA) / ICWA (CMA)

Experience

- 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Proven experience in leading finance teams and managing financial operations in a corporate setting.

Technical Competencies

- Strong proficiency in ERP and accounting systems such as SAP & Tally
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
