Position: Safety Officer

Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Location: Coimbatore, Sulur.

Your Profile

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a recognized Safety qualification approved under the Tamil Nadu Factories Rules (TNFR 1950).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial safety, preferably in a manufacturing or construction equipment setting.
- Sound knowledge of the Factories Act, 1948, Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, 1950, statutory compliance, and EHS regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and incident investigation skills with the ability to conduct safety audits and training.
- Proficient in risk assessment, hazard identification, emergency response planning, and safety documentation.

Your Tasks

- Plan, implement, and monitor workplace safety programs to prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and unsafe practices across the plant.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and job safety analyses, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identify root causes,



and recommend measures to improve workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, 1948, Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, 1950, and all applicable statutory and customer safety requirements.
- Conduct employee safety training, promote safety awareness, coordinate safety committee activities, and maintain all statutory safety records and reports.
