Manager Design & Planning (Hospitality Lounges & F&B;)

Your Role:

As a Manager Design & Planning, you will lead the design and experience strategy for hospitality environments, including premium lounges and F&B; spaces.

You will operate at the intersection of design, guest experience, and hospitality operations, creating spaces that deliver comfort, efficiency, and memorable moments for travelers.

This role goes beyond design execution- you will shape how hospitality spaces feel, function, and perform, ensuring they align with evolving passenger expectations and global benchmarks in lounge and dining experiences.

What You Will Do

Hospitality Experience Design

- Lead the design vision for lounges and F&B; environments, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience
- Translate guest journeys, dwell behavior, and service expectations into spatial and design solutions
- Design for comfort, privacy, efficiency, and flow, tailored to diverse traveler personas

Concept Development & Storytelling

- Develop design narratives and concepts that reflect contemporary hospitality while integrating local context
- Create mood boards, layouts, and presentation decks that clearly articulate design intent
- Ensure a consistent yet distinctive identity across lounge and F&B; formats

Project Leadership (End-to-End)

- Lead projects across all phases:
Concept Schematic Design Development Documentation Execution Handover
- Ensure design intent is carried through from concept to on-ground execution
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and design quality across multiple projects

F&B; & Lounge Planning

- Plan and design functional kitchen layouts, service areas, seating typologies, and back-of-house spaces
- Balance aesthetic design with operational efficiency for F&B; and lounge environments




- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure service flow, capacity, and user comfort are optimized.

Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination

- Work closely with internal teams (operations, F&B;, marketing, leadership)
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, kitchen consultants, and specialty designers
- Engage with F&B; partners and brands to align design with their identity and operational needs

Design Governance & Quality Control

- Establish and implement design guidelines and standards for hospitality spaces
- Review and approve designs to ensure alignment with brand, quality, and guest experience expectations
- Maintain consistency in materiality, lighting, furniture, and overall design language

Execution & Site Coordination

- Oversee on-site implementation to ensure high-quality execution and adherence to design intent
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and fabricators
- Resolve site challenges balancing design, timelines, and operational constraints

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

- Stay updated with global trends in hospitality, lounge design, and F&B; experiences
- Introducing recent ideas in materials, layouts, service integration, and guest comfort
- Leverage AI tools and digital workflows to enhance design efficiency and visualization

Your Qualifications:

Education

- Bachelors Degree in:
- Interior Design / Hospitality Design / Architecture / Commercial Design

- Masters in Interior Design (preferred)
