Primary Purpose of Role
Part of the Central Operations Data science team and support the business function with exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to generate actionable business insights
Develop and maintain data science solutions on structured/unstrctured data to drive incremental value for Kmart group
Create compelling dashboards and presentation to share actionable insights to internal stakeholders and measure benefits

training / associates degree.
Technical Skills required:
Basic statistical literacy is a must - Concepts in probability, statistical distributions, inferential statistics. Hands on experience in simple techniques such as multiple linear regression and logistic regression
mandatory. Conceptual understanding and ability to apply Machine Learnings algorithms to real life business problems.
Data Management Skills using SQL
Excellent programming skills in Python
Basic knowledge of cloud and MLOps - AWS / GCP / Azure. Experience in agile development methodologies.

Work Experience
1+ years of work experience as a Data Scientist / Data Analyst in a corporate environment

Retail / E-com / CPG experience preferred
