- Perform specialized testing beyond standard refraction, including assessments of ocular motility, binocular coordination, accommodation, visual-perceptual skills, Visual Information processing examination, CVI assessment, Neuro optometrist assessment for patient with post stroke and Traumatic brain injury ,evaluating for prism prescription.
- Specially trained in evaluating unintigrated retained primitive reflex Design, implement, and oversee individualized Vision Therapy programs for patients with strabismus, amblyopia, convergence insufficiency, CVI neurodivergent patients and traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
- Evaluate children struggling with reading or sports performance to determine if an underlying visual deficit or primitive reflexes is hindering their development.
- Designing therapies and prescribing specialized prism glasses for patients recovering from strokes,
concussions and patient with different visual syndrome to help reintegrate their visual system.
- The Vision Therapist / Orthoptist evaluates and manages patients with binocular vision disorders, strabismus, amblyopia, eye movement disorders, and visual processing difficulties.
- The role involves conducting assessments, providing vision therapy, monitoring patient progress, and supporting overall eye care services.
